Jim is loving being back on the water. Having grown up on the Chesapeake Bay and having a boat long before he could drive a car, it has been a long time getting back to the salt water. He's never been very interested in lakes, though in upstate South Carolina there are many beautiful lakes. During the building process he would never take his boat to Harkers Island, he said he would be too tempted to play! LOL
Here are some views from our house, the rear of the house faces west, so we have beautiful sunsets (I'll post some of those later in the blog). In these pictures are some views from the roof deck, and if you can zoom the picture through the treetops you can see the lighthouse.
